Home-Start Newry & Mourne runs three charity shops across the local area. They’re much more than just shops — they’re an essential source of income for our family support services, a friendly face in the community, and a place where everyone is welcome.

What Your Support Does
Every purchase, every donation, and every hour volunteered in our shops goes directly to supporting local families. All profits stay in the local area, funding our home visiting, family groups, and specialist programmes.

Last year, with the help of our shops and supporters, we provided:

£1,700 worth of utility top-ups
30 families received toys at Christmas
25 families received food hampers
29 families received Keep Warm packs

Volunteering in our shops is a great way to meet people, build confidence, and learn new skills. We also welcome work placements and provide a supportive, caring environment for those taking their first steps into work or training.
